Kallisto – House in Corfu

Above Kouloura, on the north-east coast of Corfu, Kallisto will look east across the water to the mountains of the Greek mainland — the deep blue of the sea, a boat crossing slowly in the middle distance — local limestone and flat concrete eaves, set into the slope among old olive and cypress.

The pool will sit at the front of the property, its far edge open to the water below. Behind it, a slatted timber pergola will shade the terrace through the middle of the day. The garden will rise behind the house in terraces of cypress and olive, following the natural line of the slope.

The terrace sits between the trees and the water, shaded and open at once.

The interiors will be limestone-tiled throughout, with full-height glazing that slides clear onto the terrace. A gym and laundry are included. The house will be fully equipped, with air conditioning throughout, alarm, and automated irrigation.

A covered dining area will sit within the terrace, open to the water on one side and shaded on the other, with the evening light coming in low across the sea. Private parking sits at the upper entrance to the property.

A long afternoon on the terrace, the sea holding the light long after the sun has moved on.

Kouloura, Kerasia, and Kalami lie below — three of the north-east coast’s best-known bays, each reached in a few minutes from the property.

This off-plan project is scheduled for completion within 18 months.

This property is eligible for both the Golden Visa and the Greek Non Dom Program.
